A note on the AI advisory assistant
The AI advisory chat is a tool, not a replacement for your advisor. It's configured with TVG's scope and methodology and will flag when a question warrants a direct advisory session. It does not make final recommendations on vendor selection, contract terms, or compliance decisions. Those stay with your advisor. Think of it as having the TVG perspective available at 11pm when something can't wait.
Security & Privacy

Private. Secure. Built for businesses that take their technology seriously.

The TVG portal is private by design. Not public-facing, not shared, not a SaaS platform anyone can sign up for. Every session requires authenticator-based login. Every session expires. No passwords to compromise. If your email isn't on file, the door doesn't open.

No Passwords. No Email Codes.
Once your authenticator app is set up, sign-in is your email address plus your authenticator code. Nothing else. No stored password to compromise. No reset link to phish. No email code to intercept. Your authenticator is your key.
Rate-Limited Access
Authentication attempts are rate-limited per email address. Brute-force attacks against the authenticator are blocked automatically. Repeated failed attempts lock out access without exposing account status.
8-Hour Session Expiry
Sessions expire automatically after 8 hours. No indefinite login states, no cached access.
Allowlist-Only Access
Your email must be explicitly authorized before any authentication attempt succeeds. Public enumeration of active clients is not possible. Deactivated accounts are blocked immediately.
Two-Factor Authentication (MFA)
Every client login uses an authenticator app: Google Authenticator, Authy, or any TOTP-compatible app. Your authenticator code is the only thing that opens the portal. Setup takes 60 seconds and activates the first time you sign in.

Access is earned, not purchased separately.

Portal access is included in every TVG engagement at no additional cost. It activates when your engagement begins. There is no trial version, no freemium tier, and no public sign-up.

Yes. The portal is included in every TVG engagement.
What does the AI advisory assistant actually do?
Configured with TVG's advisory scope and methodology. Helps you think through decisions between sessions and flags when something needs your advisor directly. Does not make final vendor or compliance recommendations.
How secure is the data I share in the portal?
Authenticator-based login, allowlist-only access, rate-limited verification, and 8-hour session expiry. No passwords stored. No public access. Sensitive information is governed by the confidentiality terms of your Advisory Services Agreement.
What happens to portal access if I pause or end my engagement?
Portal access is tied to your active engagement. If your engagement is paused or terminated, access is deactivated. In-progress work is transitioned before deactivation.
