VALUE..What does it mean to you?


As a business leader or decision maker, what does the word “value” mean to you?


When you’re seeking an IT partner, the value that a partner brings to you in the short and long term is and will always be the life or death of the business relationship. The underlying “value” of a business partner is usually vetted typically during the first few months, but can sometimes take years. Why years? Value is typically consistent at first, but as the relationship matures and expectations get lost, it begins to waiver. Business partners that serve as an extension of your team, must hit a home run each and every time and if they don’t, be accountable and fix it! 


What VALUE means to me as a business leader..

 

Vision-I want to work with a partner that understands my vision for the future and has a vision of their own so that we can grow together. 


Action-I want to work with a partner that does what they say they are going to do, meets deadlines, delivers on commitments, is honest, and provides thorough follow up. 


Lead-I want to work with a partner that can truly serve as an extension of my team and take the ball, run with it, and lead me to the goal of my initiatives. 


Understand-I want to work with a partner that understands my business so that solutions that are presented to me seamlessly integrate with internal processes.  I don't want a partner that just serves as a quoting machine!


Evolve-I want to work with a partner that can evolve with me as my business changes, be accepting of that change, and ultimately adapt.
